How solid-state batteries avoid flammable liquid
Because carrying a pouch of highly flammable liquid electrolyte in your pocket was always a terrible idea, engineers finally invented a fix. Solid-state technology replaces that volatile liquid with a solid ceramic or glass compound. It still shoves lithium ions back and forth to store energy, but it drastically reduces the chance of your expensive device spontaneously turning into a flare.
