Kepler thought planets were playing music

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Tracking the elliptical orbits of massive ice giants wasn't quite poetic enough for Johannes Kepler. He mathematically determined that the velocity of planets corresponded exactly to musical intervals, convinced that the entire solar system was performing an inaudible symphony. He essentially reduced astrophysics to a very large, very slow orchestra.
