The proposed monorail for Australian sheep

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Because driving sheep across a massive, arid desert is horribly inefficient, a wealthy Australian named F.W. Hughes decided in the 1920s that a sheep-carrying monorail was the obvious answer. Sadly for lovers of avant-garde livestock transit, the project was deemed financially disastrous before the sheep could ever experience the joy of elevated rail travel.
