As if a standard game of Monopoly wasn't already a suffocating experience. In 1983, a dive club in Buffalo, New York, decided to play the game in a high school pool for 1,080 consecutive hours, passing the board between divers in shifts. They used laminated money and a metallic board just so they could claim the most aggressively unnecessary world record in tabletop history.
