The invisible line that divides Indonesia's wildlife

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Running strictly between certain Indonesian islands is the Wallace Line, a completely invisible biological boundary where the local fauna drastically changes. On one side you find monkeys and tigers, while on the other side you stumble into marsupials and totally different birds. Deep ocean trenches prevented the species from ever mixing, creating a highly rigid, uncrossable natural border.
