When you have infinite wealth and severe depression, throwing an elaborate goth banquet is the only logical step. The French aristocrat Grimod de La Reynière famously hosted a deeply morbid dinner where the dining room was draped in funeral crepe and lit by dim torches. The waitstaff were dressed as clergymen, and the guests were served a menu entirely consisting of black bread, black pudding, dark truffles, and caviar, all washed down with heavily tinted black wine. Wednesday Addams would have been deeply impressed.
