How AI learns by rolling downhill
To improve accuracy, AI uses an optimization strategy called 'Gradient Descent'. Imagine placing a ball on a bumpy, multi-dimensional hill and letting gravity pull it to the lowest point. The AI randomly tweaks its math and checks if the error rate goes down. If it does, it keeps stepping in that direction until it hits the bottom. It is literally learning by falling.
