The Lion King was almost called King of the Jungle
Basic geography clearly wasn't a prerequisite for working at Disney animation in the early 90s. Despite lions exclusively living in the open African savannah, the entire production rolled forward under the name 'King of the Jungle'. Eventually, someone with an encyclopedia bravely pointed out that there were absolutely zero jungles in the movie, prompting a last-minute title change.
