Biology demands efficiency, and the female cardiovascular system is basically a high-revving sports car engine compared to a man's. Because women are generally smaller and possess literally less physical heart mass, their hearts have to aggressively overcompensate. A female heart beats on average about eight times more per minute than a male heart just to maintain the same exact circulatory output.
