Why farmers use donkeys to guard sheep

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Far from being the stubborn, lazy creatures depicted in cartoons, these animals harbor an intense, violent hatred for predators. If a coyote or wild dog approaches a flock they are protecting, the donkey will viciously stomp the intruder into the dirt. Farmers literally deploy them as heavily armed organic security systems for helpless sheep.
