HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Pulling two separate cables incredibly tight by hand is practically impossible. Turnbuckles use a single metal frame with opposing reverse threads on each end. By spinning the middle piece with a wrench, it aggressively pulls both threaded hooks violently inward at exactly the same time, instantly eliminating the slack.
