This perfectly idyllic display of historic Dutch engineering is essentially a meticulously curated outdoor museum. Instead of being naturally preserved, most of these massive wooden structures were painstakingly dismantled, relocated on flatbeds, and reassembled in one spot specifically to preserve an aesthetic heritage.
