Platonic solids are strictly limited to five variations

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

You can draw a regular two-dimensional polygon with any number of equal sides you want. But if you try to make perfectly symmetrical 3D dice using identical, regular faces, the universe cuts you off at exactly five shapes. Once you pass the tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron, geometry literally breaks down and refuses to close the gaps.
