Rabbits can't see what's right under their noses
HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART
You can see 360 degrees around your own head, but you can't see the carrot directly touching your face. Because a rabbit's eyes are positioned so far back on the sides of their skull to watch for hawks and foxes, their visual fields never overlap right at the front. If a predator is standing completely still right smack in front of a rabbit's nose, the rabbit is biologically oblivious.
