You might expect a whimsical wonderland to be named through deep mythological research, but bureaucracy provides the best inspiration. L. Frank Baum was supposedly struggling to come up with a name for his magical realm when he glanced across his study at a multi-drawer filing cabinet. One drawer was labeled 'A-N,' and the bottom drawer was labeled 'O-Z.' He grabbed the second label, proving that legendary world-building sometimes just requires basic office furniture.
