Manually recording animal noises for eighteen quintillion planets is literally impossible. Instead, audio director Paul Weir built a custom procedural Foley software called VocAlien, which manipulates physical modeling synthesis to dynamically morph throat shapes, vocal tract lengths, and resonance in real-time based on the creature's generated anatomy.
