A closer look

It’s almost cruel how the mind works. I can recite a TikTok remix of a meowing cat at lightning speed, but when real anxiety strikes? Suddenly, every coping trick I’ve learned vanishes like a magician’s rabbit. My brain seems convinced that meme soundboards are life-or-death knowledge, while breathing exercises are optional downloads I chose not to install. It’s as if the survival instinct has been rewritten by internet culture, where the ability to perfectly lip-sync nonsense trumps staying calm during, you know, actual stress.
