Vintage carburetors mix fuel and air via fluid dynamics

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Before digital fuel injection, old engines relied on spooky fluid dynamics to siphon gas into the airstream. As the engine aggressively gulps air, it passes through a narrow choke point called a venturi. This violently speeds up the air and drops the pressure, creating a strong vacuum that effectively sucks liquid gasoline directly out of a tiny metal bowl right into the manifold.
