HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Having one set of tusks is a solid evolutionary choice, but Gomphotherium was excessively greedy and opted for four entirely separate tusks protruding from its skull. It featured both upper and elongated lower tusks, making its face look like a poorly designed medieval siege weapon that constantly got entirely stuck in dense brush.
