Coriolis described how rotation deflects moving objects

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Gaspard-Gustave de Coriolis observed machines functioning on spinning surfaces and noticed that moving parts kept drifting sideways. He formulated complex axioms to mathematically explain how a rotating framework severely impacts direct motion. He essentially gave meteorologists the precise mathematical excuse for why massive storm systems always aggressively spin in predictable directions.
