Turkeys can blush when they get excited

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

It turns out turkeys wear their emotions literally on their bare, wrinkled faces. The fleshy growths on their head and neck, known as the snood and the wattle, are packed with blood vessels. When a turkey gets angry, scared, or overly romantic, blood rushes to the area, turning it a brilliant crimson. It is incredibly embarrassing, transparent avian body language.
