A closer look
Even in the cold, unforgiving vacuum of space, male ego ruins everything. During the Apollo missions, astronauts wore essentially highly engineered space condoms to pee into bags. Initially, NASA labeled the sizes normally: small, medium, and large. Shockingly, all the macho test pilots insisted they were a 'large,' resulting in loose fits and zero-gravity urine leaks. NASA finally fixed the issue by renaming the sizes to stroke their fragile egos.
