When James Naismith invented an indoor game to keep young men busy during winter, he didn't exactly have a massive budget. He nailed two peach baskets to the gymnasium balconies. The only problem? They still had the bottoms attached. Every single time someone scored, the game had to stop so a guy could climb a ladder and fish the ball out. Truly gripping, fast-paced action.
