Why circus rings are built for galloping horses

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

That iconic circular stage you see in every big top wasn't designed for aesthetic balance. It was mathematically determined by trick riders to be the exact circumference needed for a galloping horse to create enough centrifugal force, allowing acrobats to stand on the horse's back without immediately falling off. It's pure physics dressed up in a red tent.
