Raphael died at 37 after a misdiagnosed fever

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

Raphael was the golden boy of the Renaissance, beloved by popes and wealthy patrons alike. Unfortunately, his social life was entirely too active. After an intensely passionate and exhausting secret rendezvous with his mistress, he caught a severe fever. Too embarrassed to tell his doctors what he had been doing, he received the wrong treatment and died at thirty-seven.
