Imagine taking a sloth, a creature entirely famous for doing absolutely nothing, and scaling it up to the size of an Asian elephant. Megatherium was a colossal, lumbering wall of muscle and fur that could easily pull down entire trees just to get a snack. It essentially proved that being lazy doesn't matter if you are literally too massive to fail.
