The eagle cry in Assassin's Creed isn't an eagle

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

The majestic shriek you hear whenever leaping from a gothic cathedral into a suspiciously soft pile of hay is a complete biological lie. Real eagles sound more like mildly annoyed seagulls. Audio designers instead used the piercing scream of a Red-Tailed Hawk because it sounds vastly more intimidating and heroic than the pathetic chirping of an actual bald eagle.
