Waking a sleepwalker won't make their heart stop

HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART

The idea that waking a sleepwalker will send them into shock is pure cinematic nonsense. If you encounter a roommate rearranging the kitchen knives at 3 AM while asleep, you should probably wake them up for everyone's safety. They will be incredibly confused, disoriented, and probably highly annoyed, but their heart isn't going to spontaneously explode. It's infinitely more dangerous to let them wander into traffic.
