Nothing draws a crowd quite like a massive, suspiciously stone-like corpse. A prankster carved a massive human figure out of gypsum, buried it on a farm, and then 'discovered' it, convincing thousands of paying rubes they were looking at a petrified giant. People gladly emptied their pockets to stare at a very large, incredibly fake statue.
